I wish with all my heart there was no need ...Alix,

I wish with all my heart there was no need for places like The Providence House, but so far that is a wish that remains beyond all my prayers.

Since 2008 I have found some grounding about the past. Learning the law finally caught up with my ex and he is where he should have been all along, helped. (Although I shudder to think about the many victims he amassed between 1983 when I divorced him and 2001 when he was finally arrested make my soul weep...If ONLY I'd been listened to back then!)

Finding Muse, the total love, acceptance, encouragement, and caring that exists here has given Kat and me more than we ever expected to find via our writing.

Each of you have your own stories of paths strewn with barbed wire, and I honor, respect, applaud, and wipe tears from my eyes as I learn of them.

I have said this many times and in many blog postings before this one...Lea and Litsa are beacons. In creating Muse their beams have reached out into the Universal Winds to touch all of us and direct us back to what we now know is home.

Thank you all for recognizing their beam and coming here.

M.L.,

Kat and I know how limiting living on disability is. I have given away my books to others...after buying them on my own dime...indeed the one sale for Beyond Yesterday IS one such purchase.

It amazed me to see how many of my longer stories were purchased via our other sellers.

You know I do not do self-promoing with any degree of comfort. (On Rosalie's blog I posted an interview with the travel trailer from Forever With You when she asked me to guest blog.) BUT I have no problem promoing others, nor do I have any problem promoing THE PROVIDENCE HOUSE.

My ex WOULD have killed me...so I DO owe them my life and my children's.

All but The Christmas War are short books. (That one is the sequel to Santa Is A Lady...so required novella length.)

I wanted most of the books I am asking help with to be short books because I am not asking for support for me...I'm asking only help for the place that gave me the tools to live.

The person I bought Beyond Yesterday for thanks me every time she reads it...it only released in September, yet she has re-read it five times so far, and she says it makes her cry every time.

Can't beat that...except to give the royalties for such a moving story to the place that allowed me to live so I COULD write moving stories.

I love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming here, reading my plea, and responding with your heartfelt words.Linhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13866209826449646004noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2686932642503411313.post-54195488666485142032011-11-23T13:01:24.512-08:002011-11-23T13:01:24.512-08:00sure, Linn. Not that that is a bad thing, just a reminder that even when someone asks me 'it wasn't really THAT bad was it?' -they still do to this day- yes, it was. *sigh* But I got out for the life/future of my children. Like you, I couldn't do it for myself, but I could for them. *smile*

As soon as I'm able -hubby laid off for the winter- I plan on buying each one of your books. They interest me and I'm always looking to give back to those who helped me and my children. Sadly, the house I took shelter in had to close some years back. But I can still help others. *smile*

Thank you for reminding me I have another thing to be thankful for. You are a very beautiful person, Lin. *hugs* Now I have to get a tissue and clean myself up so I can start on the pies for said children. *grin* Again, thank you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06247571195788096749noreply@blogger.com
