Hera, Goddess of Family is among us as a talented midwife. Maxine is pregnant, but not alone. Entering Hera's office with two men at her side, Hera's happy for Maxine, but worried about her own reaction to the men. After eons of being humilated by Zeus' infideltites, she is now divorced and determined to never be treated to anything less than the respect she knows in her blood she's entitled to...but what now?

And, now that she's here, is the mansion, the one she was never allowed to enter, sending out the force of the wind to drag her, no matter what, up its steps into an aguish still reeking from its walls?

All royalites from the sale of Beyond Yesterday through December 31, 2011 will be donated to THE PROVIDENCE HOUSE, a women's shelter in Willingboro, NJ.
In the 1980's The Providence House helped me leave a violent federal agent, and helped my children and I create a life free from watching the clock on the wall inch its way towards 6:00 and another night of pain, fear and blood.
The Providence House made the life my daughter and I live today possible. This is my very small way of thanking them back.
