We had a new review in our bookstore by Glenn Kleier for Santa is a Lady:
An impressive debut! Lin Holmes writes with the emotion and passion of a lady who has had rich--and difficult--life experiences, and she commits her sentiments to the page with rare honesty. As you follow the arc of Angie Brightwell through trial and triumph, the sentiments ring true, and the
story pulls at the heart. A thoroughly charming and fulfilling Christmas tale that I would not be surprised to see made into a movie. Thanks for a
stirring read!
Congrats, Lin.

Let me be the first to post a comment to congratulate you on this terrific review.:) How exciting!!! I love that you have posted this on your blog and you are tooting your own horn!!! I hope this is only the first of many more to come.:)
Wow, talk about high praise. Congratulations!
Thanks. I have a few others that I will be borrowing (copy and pasting) here over the next few days. I am knee deep in content edits for two books...one coming out in May and another in June and line edits for the one coming out in March, and I am expecting the galleys for the one releasing in February any day now...so my editing cave is hanging onto me for dear life.
Every time I slip out for a breather, it sends the cave dragon out to huff and puff and snort me right back inside. So I will post the other reviews when I can trick the cave dragon into thinking I need a LOOOOOONNNG Nature break.
Wish me Luck!
Love You All...ooops...gotta run, Here Comes SnaggleJaw.
Jolie,
Thank you for the time you took to come in and read my review. I must have been typing my response to lionmother when you were here.
Lin,
I feel for you. I'm also taking on an editing project for another company and it's going to be a long one too.:)
Thank you for your response and I know that that dragon breath feels like!! Run and go to work.:) Can't wait to see the others and hope I get to read your book soon.
Sweet review, Lin. Congrats!
Excellent review, Lin! Really stellar, congratulations!
Karen :)
Lin, only a matter of time before the world joined us at Muse in admiration of your talents. Is Julia Roberts too old to play the role?
Congratulations, Lin! you couldn't wish for a better review.
Congrats Lin. btw, this is the 1st time I've heard of Glenn K.

Thanks all.
Glenn Kleier has only one book out so far. It made the NY Times Best Selling list and we who are his adoring fans, have been waiting for his next book. It was supposed to be coming out in February, was pushed back to May and now July.
Glenn's book THE LAST DAY helped me make it through the chemo and radiation I endured at the time.
His stories are rich in research but equally rich in creating a world that you KNOW would be just as he portrays it given the settings. They also cause controversy.
His next book THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL is eagerly anticipated, and I predict will be even more controversial than THE LAST DAY was.
