Sluggery Marches to My Moving Beat

Lin's

slug lifts its head, looking this way and that. Moving, editing, reading, writing, shopping, mailing...what IS she thinking? She's going to give slugs a bad name if she doesn't stop, put her feet up and wallow in...well...sluggery.

"I am Lin's TRUE core...unfortunately I have a hard forcing our true purpose in life upon her. If she's not doing ten things at once, she starts to feel guilty.

I have tried, over the years to remind her she is entitled to...well...

sluggery. You'd think after having been technically...you know...

DEAD several times throughout her life...(dammit she drowned when she was four, for lassitude's sake...only to be resuscitated by the woman who literally swam into her bobbing body)...she'd take a break from acting like she's an

octopus with more arms than sense.

Packing for this move would be enough for most people to crash, weary and breathless,

to the closest chair, bed, or floor mat...but not my wayward Reluctant Slug. Nope, she packs, runs around taking things to the dumpster, cooking, editing her first full length novel

Echoes From The Past, preparing for the June release of her

Life's Journey, a sort of autobiographical tale, promoting her daughter's June release, Kat Holmes' debut of her Hekate's Web Vampire series

Hidden about some really powerful vampires caught in the Web of the

Goddess Hekate...and well I guess I should say...Oh My Goddess...Hekate...that woman is wicked in her plots and plans...She REALLY gives sluggery a bad name...Think that's where Lin learned it? Nah, she's been this way since long before Kat wrote Hidden.

Add to this monumentally NON-slug-like behavior, she's ALSO posting so many Ladybug Lin reviews of the books she crams INTO all of this I'M exhausted watching her!

For me, Lin's inner slug,

it's frustrating getting her to set a spell and let the world drift by a bit. It is like beating my slime against a

rain filled gully, it just washes away...so I'm looking for

suggestions...short of 

her to the white leather recliner that doesn't get anywhere NEAR the use it should...

How do I get Lin to embrace sluggery when all she chants is this?..."OMG there's only four more packing days before the move and I still have so much to do!"

I am not a big hero worshipper, but

Glenn Kleier is one man I actively, willingly, happily, and without qualms bow before and will always do so.

In days gone by, I suffered the horrible treatment needed to combat cancer. It was during those days filled with nausea, radiation blisters, and more hair coating my pillow each morning than clinging to my head I found Glenn Kleier, a writer with such a powerful voice, he turned my life around.

I went from dreading each day, to knowing I was meant to find Glenn's first book, facing forward on the entrance way shelves in my library. That book? The Last Day...a modern take on the path

Jeza, a female incarnation of the original Bearer of God's love, power, and compassion. It changed my life and gave me back my deep belief in God and my own role in His plan.

I sat eagerly waiting the next Glenn Kleier book and felt like I'd hit the lottery jackpot when

Today, Mother's Day, my idol let me know Knowledge is being released as an

I am going to begin with the original The Knowledge of Good and Evil for the hard cover edition released last year...It's a powerful cover with a lot going on but so far in the distance I had trouble picking out any one event or action...Now here's the 2012 cover for this book and its mass media release...





Holy Moley...are you as breathlessly captivated by this cover as I am? I LOVE this story, but this cover zinged with me...and you want to know why?

Remember that cover that faced forward on the entrance shelves as I walked into my library back in 1999, when I first found Glenn Kleier's voice? That book is THE LAST DAY and here's the cover...



Power that jumps out and grabs you, right? And that's exactly what it did for me from the very beginning. The two covers, the new one for 2012's The Knowledge of Good and Evil, and the cover for Glenn Kleier's

Internationally acclaimed best selling The Last Day share the same ethereal punch...too powerful to resist. (I don't try, by the way.)

NOW I am going to copy and paste the information Glenn gave me concerning the audio actor who took on this monumental task, and did so quite successfully.

Let's start with the cover...the NEW audio book cover...

Here it is...The Tree of Knowledge and the two sides of Ian Baringer's journey. I am more than a little impressed.

For the next part I call upon the Mother's Day e-mail I received in Glenn's own resonating words...here's SOME of what awaited me. MacLeod is a man of many voices, one of few actors with the ability to tackle the dozens of characters and dialects KNOWLEDGE required. English, French, German, Italian, Irish, Polish, Cockney, Rastafarian, Asian, Indian, Brazilian, to mention only some—and not forgetting the characters of both God and Satan. His performance is amazing and I’m most grateful he took this project on.

FIVE GOLD STARS FOR ROCK OF REALM by Lea Schizas

Alex Stone is a typical young girl. Chores are a bore, parents have too many eyes in the back of their heads, and some days they're more annoying than others. Today is one of those days, thanks to her dog, Butch...his middle name should be "Trouble" since he's always getting her into it.
